چکیده
In truth, the authors have built the four scatter diagrams with regression line, but they have omitted to report the required regression equation for each of the drawn plots, i.e. within every plot the respective values of the intercept and beta-coefficient (slope) are lacking, in contrast with the good rule which provides for inclusion of the constant in equation, according to the scheme: Y( dependent variable)=a+bX. Furthermore, cTnT should be expressed as ng/1000 ml rather than ng/ml. Please redo the four scatter plots accordingly, by entering the values of intercept and slope in each of them.

Admission hypoxia-inducible factor 1α levels and in-hospital mortality in patients with acute decompensated heart failure
BACKGROUND Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) is a critical regulator for cellular oxygen balance. Myocardial hypoxia can induce the increased expression of HIF-1α. Our goals were to evaluate the value of HIF-1α in predicting death of patients with acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) and describe the in vivo relationship between serum HIF-1α and N-terminal-pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT...

Objective: Congestive heart failure (CHF) has become one of the most important health care problems in western countries. This article focuses on the outpatient diagnosis and management of heart failure. We want to compare the outcome of patients who were treated with high dose diuretics in the emergency department (ED) without admission with patients who were admitted to hospi...

Background: Cardiovascular diseases are one of the most common chronic illnesses. Despite the advancement in the management of heart failure, it still remains as one of the most important causes of mortality and morbidity. Anemia is a common finding in heart failure patients and decreases both life quality and bodily function in this group of patients. It is also related with high mortality and...

Background and Objective: The physiological changes in liver function in pregnancy are commonly transient and are rarely permanent. HIFs are important to treatment of injuries, inflammation and response to hypoxia. However exercise in pregnancy and some of environmental toxicities can influence HIF levels. The goal of this study was identification of endurance swimming by identifying HIF-1 prot...
متن کاملCorrelation between Hyponatremia and High Risk Clinical and Echocardiographic Features in Patients with Acute Heat Failure
Background and purpose: Heart failure (HF) is characterized by decreased ability of the heart to provide sufficient blood flow or fill with the blood. Hyponatremia is the most commonly seen electrolyte abnormality in patients with heart failure that is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study was to assess the correlation between hyponatremia and high risk clinic...
